Body of 3rd teen pulled from Mountain Lake

SMALLWOOD Dive teams found 19-year-old Carlo Milito in Mountain Lake in Sullivan County. He and three others were fishing when the small boat capsized Sunday.

The four fell into the water around 1:30 p.m. when one of the passengers stood up, which caused the boat to flip.

Officials say 20-year-old Gianfranco Generoso swam to shore and alerted authorities. Responders later recovered the bodies of 19-year-old Domenico Coluccio and 18-year-old Anthony Dupont. The search for the last victim was called off because of darkness and resume Monday morning.

Generoso, Milito and Dupont are all cousins, while Coluccio is a friend of the family. Relatives say the others referred to him as a cousin though, since they were all so close. Family members were on the scene both Sunday night and Monday morning. Their cries of grief filled the air.

The victims were from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, and were in the area visiting a relative.

The water is approximately 8 feet deep, and authorities believe the winter clothing the men were wearing became waterlogged. None of the victims were wearing life vests.
