Fire rips through homes in New Jersey

PATERSON Dozens of firefighters spent hours tackling the intense flames and thick smoke on Mill Street.

Firefighters believe the fire started at the back of one of the buildings, but do not yet know how it started.

All the residents were able to escape the burning buildings, but now many are left looking for a place to stay.
