Three high school students were arrested on Long Island for allegedly vandalizing a 9/11 memorial. The monument in Farmingdale was dedicated to a Port Authority police captain from Massapequa who died in the attacks.

The teens were charged as adults.

The maximum possible sentence is 7 years, but police said that's unlikely because the suspects have otherwise clean records.
