Bodies of missing NJ couple found in park

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. Police say the bodies of Michael J. Maltese, 58, and Kathleen Maltese, 53, were found in Beech Woods Park. They have been missing since Oct. 10.

The couple's 20-year-old son and his 18-year-old girlfriend have been arrested in connection to the couple's death.

Authorities say the son, Michael A. Maltese, killed his parents in their home, and with the help of his girlfriend, Nicole Taylor, buried them in the park. An autopsy is pending.

Michael A. Maltese and Taylor are also charged with fraudulently using the dead couple's credit cards.

Both Maltese and Taylor are being held in a North Brunswick jail. It's not immediately clear if either have an attorney.
