Man robbed, dumped along NJ Turnpike

Police are looking for two men who beat and robbed a trucking company employee and dumped him along the New Jersey Turnpike in Carlstadt. Police say the victim is in stable condition at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Investigators believe the man was followed to the parking lot of the General Trading Company from a check cashing business shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday.

Witnesses told police the robbers forced the man into their car at gunpoint. He was robbed of about $2,000 and shoved out of the car near Exit 16W of the turnpike.

Police are looking for a dark-colored Chevrolet Impala.
