CT court upholds Obama on ballot

HARTFORD State Supreme Court Chief Justice Chase T. Rogers dismissed the case Monday morning after hearing testimony from the state and a Connecticut man who bought the action.

The plaintiff, Cort Wrotnowski, alleged election fraud and says Secretary of the state Susan Bysiewicz has the obligation to ensure that Obama is qualified to appear on the ballot. It's one of at least eight lawsuits filed in state courts across the country.

Some Obama critics claim he was not born in the US. Officials in Hawaii have said there's doubt the Democratic presidential candidate was born in Hawaii.
