Long Island teen fatally shot

COPIAGUE, Long Island Seventeen-year-old Joseph Scorezelli was found shot in the head at 11:35 p.m. Saturday in a car in front of his house at 45 Pleasantview Court.

Police say Scorezelli had been shot moments earlier on Pinelawn Avenue several blocks away and driven home by a friend.

Police gave no other details.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS or the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6292.
