2 hurt in gunfire at Seattle-area mall

TUKWILA, Wash. (AP) The gunfire Saturday afternoon sent panicked shoppers running for the exits at the Southcenter Mall in Tukwila.

Police spokesman Mike Murphy says an armed young man might still be in the mall. Police are going store to store looking for him.

The victims were taken to a Seattle hospital, and the mall is being evacuated.

Witness Kayla Shaw says she was eating lunch when she heard gunshots. She says she saw someone being handcuffed before she evacuated.
