Police initially believed he was the victim of a botched robbery. Monique Randall testified the man's business partner met her in a strip club and asked her to find someone to kill attorney James DiMartino. She says she found two men in her Queens neighborhood to perform the deed.
Online court records show DiMartino's business partner, Ronald Thornton, and the two Queens men will face first-degree murder charges. They initially pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder charges.
Randall pleaded guilty in exchange for the minimum 15 years to life in prison.
