A California man accused of fatally shooting two people and wounding a third last week in a Clifton church is set to return to New Jersey on Wednesday. Joseph Pallipurath is accused of killing his estranged wife and another man at the St. Thomas Syrian Orthodox Knanaya Church on Nov. 23.

He was apprehended a day later at a motel after the manager recognized his face from a photo. He is being held in Walton County Jail in Georgia.

Pallipurath has waived extradition.

According to the Passiac County Prosecutor's office, Pallipurath will fly into Newark Liberty International Airport Wednesday night.
