Sussex Co. still without power

SUSSEX COUNTY The residents were told by Sussex Rural Electric that they may not have power restored until tonight at the earliest. The outages were caused by the storm, which brought down trees and power lines.

The utility says about 950 homes are still without power. Crews had to work slowly to restore the power, and crews from other nearby towns are helping those in need.

In Vernon Township, schools will had a 90-minute delayed start because of the cleanup.
