Officials say residents don't need to take any action as far as changing their addresses for bills.
But many civic and volunteer groups in the town - including the all-volunteer fire department - haven't decided whether they'll comply with the change.
The borough plans to implement the name change gradually, so as to spread out the cost of paying for new signs. And workers have already begun placing new logos on municipal vehicles.
