December 26, 2008 8:22:47 PM PST
Firefighters in Newark battled a three-alarmer at a warehouse on Friday night. The building, located a block south of Raymond Boulevard just north of the Pulaski Skyway, burned to the ground.

The warehouse belonged to a truck repair company called Voyager Trucking.

The fire started at 7:40 p.m. Nobody was inside when the fire started. The business was closed.

There were explosions inside the building as some of the gas tanks on the trucks blew up, but officials nothing hazardous was inside the building.

Firefighters did have to deal with some water problems, but they were resolved and most of the fire was knocked down shortly after 9:00 p.m.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
