These thieves move with deliberate speed targeting upscale homes, rushing into the master bedrooms stealing cash and other valuables.
There were two recent burglaries a mile apart in Franklin Lakes. The crimes have created concern in normally quiet neighborhoods.
The series of incidents began last September and residents in Tenafly and in nearby Demarest have been victimized. Police believe that same crew has moved into Franklin Lakes and Glen Rock.
Even residents who practice prevention are wondering if they're doing enough.
