Months after sale, NYC diner still stuck

A classic diner that fans had hoped would find a new home in Brooklyn after losing its Manhattan home still hasn't been relocated, months after the place served its last meal. The Cheyenne Diner at Ninth Avenue and 33rd Street closed down in April. The construction manager who purchased it announced a plan to relocate it to the Red Hook neighborhood.

But the weekly neighborhood newspaper Chelsea Now reported that the new owner had to scrap original plans to move the structure, and is now looking into whether a plan to move it via barge would be financially feasible.
