STATEN ISLAND The officers entered the plea Wednesday in state Supreme Court.

They were sentenced to conditional discharge and will not serve jail time.

Officers Thomas Elliassen and Richard Danese had been charged in an indictment of handcuffing a 14-year-old boy, driving him to a desolate marsh, assaulting him and leaving him to find his way home, clad only in his underwear. Authorities say the incident was triggered after the officers caught the youth throwing eggs at cars on Halloween in 2007.
