BROOKLYN Debra Royal is well aware of why this suspect is wanted and she's concerned.

"I come home real late from school and it kind of scares me," she said.

The attack happened a week ago. On January 19 shortly after 10:00 p.m., the victim was getting off of the L train when the suspect approached. He confronted the 16-year-old and at gunpoint led her to an apartment building on Farragut Road.

Police sources say the suspect dragged the teenage victim to the roof where she was sexually assaulted.

"You're afraid. Shocked. Your heart goes out to the person," Aretha Taylor said.

The suspect is still on the streets. Police say he is an African-American, 26 to 30 years old, 5'-9" to 6'-1" 160-180 lbs. That night investigators believe he was wearing a black leather coat, a grey hoodie, blue jeans and tan boots.

"It's really a shock to hear that someone was assaulted. It's really going to make me think twice about coming home after a certain hour," one neighbor said.
