Three-alarm fire in the Bronx

BRONX The fire was first reported at 10:17 p.m. at 1102 Jackson Avenue at East 166 Street in the Morrisania section.

Four homes were damaged by the fire, officials said. The fire went to a third alarm at 10:30 p.m.

More than 130 firefighters were on the scene.

Initial reports said four firefighters were injured, but officials later said none suffered injuries.

One person was taken to Jacobi Hospital with burns.

The fire was declared under control shortly before 11:30 p.m.

The cause was under investigation.
