NJ toddler wins Gap model contest

Grandparents tend to be partial when it comes to their own grandkids. But one grandmother saw the twinkle in her grandaughter's eyes, and potential and it paid off."There isn't a time when we go out and a person doesn't say she should be a model," said Rhdena Stephens.

Stephens is talking about her granddaughter Jacie Rae, and after all that encouragement from strangers, Rhenda headed to the Willowbrook mall, and had Jaci Rae's photo taken at the Gap and entered her in a casting call.

It turns out the Gap chose Jacie Rae out of 900,000 entries to be one of 20 finalists.

The company flew the three-year-old and her Grandma to San Francisco for a photo shoot.

The public voted and chose 4 winners including Jacie Rae, and now their faces will be plastered at Gaps around the country.

Jacie Rae's mom had been busy working during the whole casting search, but now she plans a little field trip for her daughter.

The little girl is more interested in playing Chutes and Ladders, and maybe she'll climb that ladder to fame and fortune.

Jacie Rae wins $3,000 for winning for the contest. The posters will be in stores Friday.
