Body ID'd as missing teen after month

NEW YORK Officials say the city had the body of 16-year-old Tiana Rice, but no name to go with it.

Police had received an anonymous 911 call about a girl suffering an asthma attack in a vacant apartment in East New York. That girl was pronounced dead at the scene.

Around the same time, Rice's family reported her missing, telling authorities that she didn't have her asthma medication.

On Wednesday, the medical examiner said Rice died of natural causes.

It's not clear why it took a month to identify her.
