MTA off on its 'Broadway' sign

February 10, 2009 5:51:58 AM PST
The MTA needs a better spell-check system. After some recent renovations-- it was discovered a mosaic tile sign in a "G" train station misspells the Broadway stop in Brooklyn.

Instead of "Broadway"-- the sign reads "Brod-away."

A NYC transit spokesman said the agency would dispatch someone from the stations division to check out the spelling butchery.
