A man clutching a missing 14-month-old boy rushed into an East Harlem apartment building to reunite him with his mother after the infant disappeared with his babysitter for nearly a day. Heshesh Brent was in the arms of an unidentified man, who said he located the child, as he rushed into the Second Avenue apartment building.

The boy went missing along with 18-year-old babysitter Naisia Hicks, who was watching over him since around 4 p.m. Sunday.

The mother returned at 1 a.m., but the baby and babysitter were gone.

The babysitter, who had previously watched the boy, was recently thrown out of her home and was living in a shelter. However, it is unclear if that is where the infant was found.

Hicks has been arrested and is charged with kidnapping and endangering the welfare of a child.
