Firefighters injured in Bronx fire

CLAREMONT Eyewitness News is told the fire broke out inside one home on East 169th Street and quickly spread to a second.

Flames shot through the roof of both structures.

Firefighters were forced to battle the blaze from the roof, as flames shot up around them.

Seven firefighters were reportedly taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
