Mystery lights spotted in New Jersey

NEW JERSEY Police have been getting a lot of calls from people who say, they've seen a mysterious red object in the sky.

The lights in the sky have made multiple appearances in Morris County. These sightings have been witnessed several times causing quite a stir.

Cindy and Paul Hurley have taken video of the strange objects above.

They say the lights stay in formation for up to 20 minutes and don't blow in the wind.

Even air traffic controllers at Morristown Airport report seeing the lights about 2,500 feet in the sky.

The latest sightings came on Tuesday night

They usually make their appearance around 8 p.m.

At this point there's speculation that the lights are from balloons with lanterns, attached but no evidence has been recovered.

However the FAA is concerned the objects, whatever they are, could interfere with air traffic at Newark airport.
