No telephone number could be found for his Rocky Point home, and authorities were unsure whether he had a lawyer. The school district superintendent did not immediately return a telephone call Wednesday evening.
Suffolk County police have said two men assaulted the bartender while she was alone in the Mount Sinai tavern shortly after it opened Feb. 3. Police say they have no immediate information on the second man.
