He was hit by a 2008 Hyundai, driven by a 19-year-old man making a turn. The victim was pinned between the car and the bus stop.
Authorities say he went into cardiac arrest in the ambulance on the way to Staten Island University Hospital North, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver stayed at the scene. No arrests were immediately made.
