Soon you're upside down.
Ivo George is an aerialist and a former performer in Cirque Du Soleil. He teaches what he knows to non-circus performers at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center.
He's a man of few words. but lots of encouragement.
One of the keys to climbing up a swath of fabric is resin on the hands and feet.
The art of the wrap is making sure you're secure in the fabric so you can climb, hold, sway and even swing.
In just one class, you're up in the air.
The class may be a bit of a stretch if you're afraid of heights, but eventually you'll get the hang of it.
