NYPD hunts bandits robbing schools

Police are asking for help catching a couple of bandits targeting schools in Queens and Brooklyn. In each incident, the suspects forcibly enter the locations through a window or door. Once inside they enter the administrative offices and remove cash.

The bandits first took cash from St. Mary Gate of Heaven Parochial school ay 104-06 101 Avenue back in November.

The burglars struck again on December 14 at Our Lady of Grace Parochial school at 158-20 101 Street. The burglars struck again at the same school on January 15, but took nothing.

They have also hit:

  • Sacred Heart Parochial school at 84-05 78 Avenue on December 20
  • Brooklyn Blue Feather Elementary on Gerritsen Avenue twice on December 27
  • St. Helen Roman Catholic School at 83-09 157 Avenue on January 6
  • Catholic School at 79-33 258 Street on January 16
  • Our Lady of Grace Parochial school at 385 Avenue West on January 21
  • Our Lady of Lourdes Parochial School at 98-80 220 Street on February 10
  • Holy Family School at 74-15 175 Street also on February 10.
