Cops hunt for serial bank robber

NEW YORK Authorities say the suspect has hit eight times since January 26. The NYPD says that in each incident, the suspect enters the bank, approaches a teller and demands cash. The suspect then flees on foot.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers Web site at NYPDCrimeStoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.

All calls are strictly confidential.
