Dead goat found outside assemblyman's home

It came as a big surprise to residents in Putnam Lake. It was a dead goat found in the snow. Even more disturbing was the homemade sign next to it.

Written in Spanish were some words we can't share, but they targeted Assemblyman Greg Ball and mentions the violent Mexican gang...MS13.

Over the past few years, Assemblyman Ball has received numerous threats -- His campaign office was spray painted with swastikas, vandals damaged his campaign billboards and he has received threatening e-mails, even a death threat. Now, a dead goat in front of his home.

So far state police have no clue who left the dead goat, nor does the Assemblyman.

The young Republican has been outspoken about illegal immigrants and organized crime, and he vows he will not be deterred.

"Whether this crime was perpetrated by gang members, or some sick local individual, I will not be cowed by threats, and I condemn this kind of heinous violent behavior towards animals," Ball told reporters outside an Assembly Sex Offender Watch Task Force meeting at Yorktown Town Hall.
