NEW YORK --New York Waterway is preparing to take a drastic step in its effort to stay financially afloat. According to Crain's New York Business, the company is considering bankruptcy.
The company is also reportedly preparing a lawsuit against U.S. Airways. It hopes to recoup expenses incurred when its ferries helped rescue the passengers and crew from Flight 1549 after the jet splash landed in the Hudson.
