Abducted girl found safe

NEW YORK Police say the suspect, the non-custodial parent, took 10-month-old baby girl from supervised visitation.

Katherine Mora Ruiz has psychiatric history, police said, including chronic paranoid schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. She has refused medication and has been deemed by a court to be a danger to her child.

The girll was identified as Carmen Vidamya Lopez.

Police said both Ruiz and the child were found safe at the woman's home in Yonkers.

No other details were immediately released.
