Suspected bathroom peeper busted

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. He's using it as his own private peep show, police said.

He planted a spy cam on the floor of the New Paltz Starbucks last week and began recording.

"He was trying to capture people in a private moment of a sexual nature," Lieutenant Steve Osarczuk said.

He may have been doing it to post the video on the internet, but investigators believe he was most likely going to use the footage for his own gratification.

Imagine how the one person caught on camera feels. He was an employee.

"He walked into the bathroom and happened to see (the camera) in the corner," Osarczuk said.

The Starbucks' employee called the police, and now they are trying to track down the suspect.

Investigators believe the camera was only recording for a few minutes, before the employee spotted it.

What's important is that the suspect himself was caught on camera, and now his face will be everywhere.
