Predator targets young girls in East Orange

EAST ORANGE, N.J. The community is on edge after the three incidents, all happening on the same day. The incidents happened between 7:15 and 9:30 Friday morning.

Investigators said an 18-year-old girl was abducted at Prospect and Springdale Avenues. She was driven to another location, where she was sexually assaulted.

A 14-year-old girl was also nearly abducted at Shepard and Elmwood, police said. She was forced into a car, but got away.

A third attempted abduction occurred at Elwood and Oak involving an 11-year-old girl. She ran off when a man asked her to get into his vehicle.

Police are looking for a black, four-door Cadillac Deville with a gray interior and white wall tires. Investigators said there is a flip-up tv in the dashboard. The suspect is described as a black man with dark complexion. He is thinly built, 5'5" to 5'10" in his twenties. He also had a goatee. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a blue cap with a white N on it.
