LI man accused in attempted sex with teens

HEMPSTEAD, Long Island The intended victims were between the ages of 12 and 14.

Police say the 26-year-old man was aware of the girl's ages because the victims said he asked them for their ages, before allegedly trying to lure them in.

Police arrested Andrew Quattrone at his home on Saturday following reports from three teenage girls that he offered them money to pose nude, model and have sex with him.

Police said the first incident took place in North Bellmore Tuesday.A 14-year-old girl allegedly ran into Quattrone on her walk home from school.

Police said Quattrone approached her on Camp Avenue and made a number of sexual offers.

Two hours later, two Westbury girls walking home on Tennyson Avenue called police to report the same incident. They were able to provide a license plate number to police .

An arrest was made. Quattrone is charged with mutiple crimes involving children.

Quattrone is expected to be arraigned on charges including endangering the welfare of a child. When arrested Saturday Quattrone was out on bail on a gun possession charge.
