A Bronx man accused of strangling his daughter before stuffing her body in a boiler has been charged with sexually abusing the teen girl after DNA tests show he fathered her unborn child.Miguel Matias pleaded not guilty to charges of rape, incest and endangering the welfare of a child on Wednesday in Bronx Supreme Court.
Bronx district attorney spokesman Steven Reed says DNA testing showed that Matias' 14-year-old daughter Ana was pregnant with his child when she was killed in February 2008.
Last week, Matias was found fit to stand trial on charges of strangling the girl. He has pleaded not guilty in the killing.
