Body piercing arrest on Long Island

April 2, 2009 3:53:35 PM PDT
Police say they've arrested a Long Island man for performing body piercing on underage girls in his home. A parent told Suffolk County police about the West Islip man. Police say he was charging $25 to pierce belly buttons, and the conditions were unsanitary.

The man faces charges of endangering child welfare and "prohibited piercing."

Police are asking the public to notify them about any other cases.
