Man charged with assaulting girlfriend's son

BRENTWOOD, N.Y. Police say officers were called to a Brentwood home Friday night and found Jordan Moore having trouble breathing. CPR was administered and the child was taken to a hospital where police say doctors determined the boy had extensive internal injuries.

Police say the boy had been home during the day and was being watched by his mother's boyfriend, 32-year-old Louie Rivera.

After interviewing Rivera, police arrested him and charged him with assault.
