The jumper landed on a 17-year-old teen who was walking on the mall's ground floor.
The teen was rushed to Elmhurst Medical Center with head trauma.
The jumper was pronounced dead at the scene.
Elmhurst Hospital says the boy is in stable condition. He has head injuries, but he is expected to survive.
