Fairfield police arrested Dubord on Thursday and say that since last November, he has been going through newspapers and collecting clippings of stories dealing with young children around the ages of 10 and 11 years old.
Police say he'd research where they lived and call them. If he got them on the phone, he reportedly said sexual things that he wanted to do to them. If a parent answered, Dubord allegedly would ask for the child. If the parent said the child wasn't at home, the suspect would allegedly claim to be with the child and to have performed some sort of sexual assault.
Fairfield police were able to trace one of the calls to a convenience store in Milford. They set up surveillance, and Dubord was arrested while making a call.
Police say the suspect also had a DJ business, where he DJs exclusively for children's parties. Authorities believe that is where he got contact info for some of the families he is accused of harassing.
Police say Dubord has been arrested several times for harassment and threatening in the past.
The charges stemming from this arrest include risk of injury, criminal attempt of risk of injury, threatening and 10 counts of harassment in the second degree. He's being held on $75,000 bail.
