Handcuffed husband files for divorce

FAIRFIELD Fairfield police say they had to rescue a screaming Robert Drawbaugh at his home on March 23. They say he managed to use his cell phone to call authorities, who found him handcuffed to his wife with bite marks on his torso and arms.

Drawbaugh filed divorce papers in Bridgeport Superior Court on Tuesday, saying his seven-year marriage to Helen Sun has "broken down irretrievably."

The 37-year-old Sun is charged with assault and other crimes.

Police say she claimed she used the handcuffs since it was the only way she could have a full conversation with her husband.
