SI woman fights off sex assault

The NYPD is looking for the man who attempted to sexually assault a woman in the West Brighton section of Staten Island.The incident happened Tuesday at approximately 5 a.m. Police say the suspect pushed his way into victim's home as she opened the door to take out the garbage. He allegedly forced the victim down to the ground and then punched her in the face.

Police say the man attempted to sexually assault the woman, who maced the suspect. He then fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 30 and 35. He is approximately 5-foot-10, with a dark complexion and a medium build. Police released the above sketch of the man.

The man was also wearing a gold chain with a gold letter "A." Police say he has been seen riding in a large beige car with a brown top and a medium-size black car.
