No indictment in beating case

There will be no indictment in a racially charged case that sparked rallies and outrage in Long Island community of Roosevelt. A grand jury decided that four Hispanic men, including an off-duty NYPD officer, should not be charged in the beating of a black man.

The incident happened last month outside of a deli.

Fifty-two-year-old Darryl Jackson suffered serious injuries to his face, neck and back.

Jurors, however, said the men were defending a deli worker from Jackson.

Jackson vows to fight the ruling.
