Littlejohn jury selection postponed

NEW YORK Darryl Littlejohn is charged with murder in the 2006 death of Imette St. Guillen. The student from Boston attended John Jay College in Manhattan.

She disappeared from a Manhattan bar; her body was found hours later in Brooklyn. Authorities said she had been raped, strangled and suffocated.

The 44-year-old Littlejohn has pleaded not guilty. Jury selection is now scheduled for May 4.

Littlejohn was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for kidnapping another young woman as she walked home from class in Queens in 2005.

Authorities say DNA evidence linked Littlejohn to both crimes. The defense says evidence tampering occurred.
