Disabled man robbed of $170,000

YONKERS Police say they received a call just before noon of an armed robbery/home invasion.

The 44-year-old victim, who reportedly received a large settlement after he was struck and left disabled by a Yonkers police car, said he was robbed by two men, each of whom displayed a gun.

They allegeldy hit him over the head and made off with a safe containing the cash.

Police searched the area with a helicopter and bloodhound, but no suspects have been found.
