Child porn bust in North Jersey

Authorities in northern New Jersey say they have arrested 21 people in a five-county child pornography investigation. Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli says a two-month operation, which began in February, focused on people trading pornography via the Internet depicting young children engaged in sexual acts. Investigators say the youngest child depicted was a 2-year-old.

The conclusion of the operation was announced Thursday. Five of those arrested were juveniles.

Molinelli says his office worked closely with New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram and the state police. Investigators in Passaic, Union, Sussex and Morris counties also participated in the operation.
