2 bone marrow matches for NY girl

NEW YORK Jasmina Anema has been hospitalized since January with a rare and especially deadly form of leukemia.

Test results show her cancer cells are in remission.

If they remain in remission and either donor passes a medical screening, prepping for her transplant could begin in a few weeks.

Neither donor is a perfect match so there's an increased chance Jasmina's body will reject the bone marrow.

Singers Rihanna and Kelly Rowland have visited the kindergartner in her New York University hospital room.

NBA players Chris Wilcox and Paul Pierce have made public pleas for people to register as donors.

Jasmina is African-American. African-Americans are vastly underrepresented in the donor registry.
