The fire broke out after 4 a.m. on Thursday.

Both woman who lived there died in the fire, causing pain for the victims son who's trying to make sense of it all.

Eyewitness News has learned both woman had medical issues, and relied a home healthcare worker five days a week.

While investigators try to pinpoint the cause, neighbors worry it could've been a cigarette, since one of the occupants smoked.
