June 3, 2009 6:48:50 AM PDT
The Mets roster has taken a beating with injuries and illness. Now the team is fighting a flu outbreak.

There are reports an Associate Producer for Sports-Net New York became ill when the team traveled to Pittsburgh.

The producer was tested and treated at a hospital for a still unidentified strain of flu.

Meantime, the Mets are concerned about John Maine and Carlos Beltran.

Both have been battling a stomach virus.

But they have not had any fever or other flu symptoms.
