The American Lung Association is striving to raise $300,000 with this walk alone. The proceeds will support their efforts to provide hope and care for people who struggle with asthma and lung disease.
The statistics are staggering. In New York, an estimated 2.5 million people suffer from lung diseases including asthma, lung cancer, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
Now in its second century, the American Lung Association in New York is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
